There’s something special about baking by hand and using organic, wholesome ingredients. It’s even more special when every batch is made with care you can taste.

The Tracy’s Small-Batch Story

Tracy Oseran started making granola in 2004 after realizing she couldn’t find a granola she loved in Portland. Her homemade recipe quickly became a favorite among family and friends, inspiring her to start selling it commercially. In 2006, Tracy’s Small-Batch Granola was officially born.

That same year, Tracy also founded a local food rescue initiative—an organization that collects surplus food from producers and redistributes it to food banks, helping reduce waste and fight hunger in the community. Her passion for good food and supporting those in need has always been at the heart of everything she does.

In 2025, after nearly two decades at the helm, Tracy passed the business on to long-time head baker Amanda Pack. Amanda has been a part of the granola’s story for years, and she remains committed to crafting the same delicious, high-quality granola customers know and love—with care, intention, and only the best ingredients.

Our granola is handmade in small batches (hence the name) right here in the Pacific Northwest. If you were to pass by our kitchen on a weekday morning, you might catch the warm, inviting scent of cinnamon and toasted oats in the air. We use only the highest quality ingredients and choose organic whenever possible.
